Charlotte Culotta
Charlotte Culotta has been dancing for over twenty-two years. She grew up in Florence, SC where she studied ballet, tap, jazz, and pointe at The School of Dance Arts. She later became a member of their classical ballet company, South Carolina Dance Theater, where she furthered her study of ballet and pointe. She began teaching dance at The School of Dance Arts while in high school and she also served as choreographer for her high school show choir– the award winning South Florence Choraliers. Charlotte went on to Winthrop University where she received a BA in psychology with a minor in dance. While at Winthrop, she danced with The Winthrop Dance Company. Upon graduating she spent a year working for Campus Crusade for Christ in New York City and then moved to Wilmington, NC when she married her husband, Kevin. Charlotte has a passion for musical theater and has performed in and choreographed several shows, including Godspell, Oklahoma!, Brigadoon, and Carousel. Charlotte enjoys teaching and instilling a love for dance in young
children and is thrilled to be doing what she loves at GAFA.
